RIPE’s Natural Light Growing centre in Warwick, England is the first construction of its kind in the world aiming to capture all the beneficial effects of growing crops (in a protective environment) under full spectrum natural daylight covering yield, taste, speed of growth, plant health and improved vigour to name but a few.
The NLG Centre, unlike traditional glasshouses, transmits the full spectrum of red and blue UV daylight onto crops, ie: exactly what plants have become accustomed to over millions of years.
Due to the flexibility of our patented nano surface treated ETFE glazing material, our light-weighted building construction can absorb any flex (no glass to shatter and spoil crops) whilst using patented ground anchors that allow rapid assembly in all weather conditions without the need for any concrete foundations.
